Where the Wild things are: a tribute to Maurice Sendak

Maurice Sendak was by far one of my favourite authors as a kid – I especially loved the book “In the Night Kitchen”, and of course, “Where the Wild Things Are”. Sendak passed away recently, and I wanted to make something to remind me how awesome a children’s author he was.  The map collage behind is pulled from the Michelin map book of France we used on our last trip – with Brian’s notations and towns circled  – a nice reminder or our travels, and ties in nicely with the image and words. (Sorry for the bad photo!)
